Holly has practiced employment law and provided HR compliance consulting services for over 20 years. After law school Holly spent 10 years litigating and defending employment cases for Fortune 500 clients.  While subsequently serving as the VP of Human Resources and General Counsel for a publicly traded company, Holly discovered the absence of experienced business-oriented HR consultants with employment law expertise.

Holly started Apto in 2001 utilizing her unique business and employment law background to offer employers practical and affordable workplace strategies and solutions to complex employment law matters.  As a strategic business partner, Holly works with senior business leaders to attract and retain talent through drafting and implementing compliant workplace tools and programs while at the same plan for critical business changes.  Holly also helps companies handle wage and hour class action matters, and respond to legal complaints.  She has handled over 50 workplace investigations over the past 10 years in over 30 states.

Our client base is broad and diverse.  We provide services to small employers, as well as large national Fortune 500 companies, and non-profit organizations.  We also assist U.S. employers with expanding global operations particularly in South America and Asia.  Our clients span a wide variety of industries in the public and private sectors, including education, banking, manufacturing, staffing, pharmaceutical, instructional music, landscaping, fresh food, and technology companies.
